Artist Statement

In my work, I typically focus on lines on paper to build narratives while embracing the unexpected variations shaped by the printmaking process. I gain inspiration from historic engraving techniques that leverage line as the primary currency of image. My goal is for viewers to find a story in marks on paper and to make connections between the paper and themselves.
